Or is it ‘scuse me while I kiss this guy… Given how much Freo cheered when Nat Fyfe came on, it probably was.

Another memorable part of the game was that it was Freo’s annual Starlight Foundation game, which meant that every time the Dockers kicked a goal, they played Starlight by The Supermen Lovers over the PA.

The Dockers wound up kicking 18 goals.

I haven’t heard Starlight that much since the early 2000s.

Funny thing is, I couldn’t remember the title of the damn song for 10 years.
