The standard of running between the wickets in Major League Cricket is fantastic

In fact, it’s so fantastic it makes the Big Bash League look elite.

Kiwi international Finn Allen, 28 off 9 balls, batting with one-time Australian Test wicketkeeper Matthew Wade, who would know all about crap Big Bash running, made an effort that wouldn’t even register as half-arsed, got run out by Shehan Jayasuriya (No relation to the other great Jayasuriya), and it was a dismissal that led to the San Francisco Unicorns losing to the Seattle Orcas.

Maybe that’s why their nickname is the Unicorns…. because just like Unicorns, their running between the wickets is a myth.

More seriously, that is so bad it makes Inzaman’s legendary running between the wickets look like Linford Christie in Barcelona.
