63 not out forever and always, Phillip Hughes.
Phil Hughes does have a couple of historic marks… not only is he the youngest player to score a century in both innings of a Test match (20 years & 96 days against South Africa in Durban, 2009), he’s still the youngest Australian Test centurion of the last half century, and he’s still the only Australian in 53 years of One Day International cricket to score a century on debut, against Sri Lanka in 2013 at the MCG.
And he was also the first Australian man to ever score a double century in a 50-over game, scoring 202 not out representing Australia A against South Africa A in July 2014.
Could’ve done with a Phil Hughes type player at Optus Stadium on the weekend.
