It’s believed that the young driver was suffering significant pressure from a Dutch tourist in the minutes leading up to the incident, while it marks the third time this year that the Monegasque driver has suffered a problem with his scarlet red car while leading an event.

Rescue crews were able to decipher this desperate radio message after the Monegasque spun off, including several seconds of heavy breathing, before belting out a booming cry of “NO!”, which some have compared to Darth Vader at the end of Revenge of the Sith.
