Assuming nothing untoward happens, Mitch Wishnowsky will make some history of his own in Super Bowl LVIII

The former Gosnells bogan will become the first Australian to play in 2 Super Bowls, breaking a tie with Ben Graham, Arryn Sipposs and Jordan Mailata.

Mitch played in Super Bowl LIV for the 49ers against the Kansas City Chiefs and will seemingly be punting for the 49ers again in Super Bowl LVIII in Vegas, once again playing the Kansas City Chiefs…

Arryn Siposs and Jordan Mailata both played for the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII last year, losing to the Chiefs thanks to that field goal in the final 10 seconds, also featuring a disastrous 4th Quarter punt by Siposs that led to a Chiefs touchdown…

And Ben Graham’s near Cinderella story saw him punt for the Arizona Cardinals in Super Bowl LVIII, where they were beaten by the Steelers and the epic toe tap catch in the last minute.

Still, the only Australian to win a Super Bowl ring is Jesse Williams, who was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in 2013 and was on the roster for Super Bowl XLVIII, but never played a down in the NFL due to injuries in 2013 and 2014, and his career was all but ended by a papillary Type 2 cancer diagnosis in 2015.
