Mitch Marsh comes back to Test Cricket after 4 years and SCORES A TEST CENTURY

The thing a bowler fears the most in the game of cricket?

A batter with nothing to lose.

Cameron Green goes out of the Australian team thanks to a hamstring injury, and in comes the red ball whipping boy Mitch Marsh, playing his first Test in 4 years, having missed the entire Australian summer through injury, comes to the crease at 4/85 just before Lunch…

And, after getting dropped on 12 by Joe Root, which would’ve left Australia rooted, proceeded to absolutely belt the living shit out of the English attack with some godly ball striking, and scored his first Test century since the New Year’s Test of 2018, making it 3 Ashes centuries.

100 off 102 balls in 108 minutes, the fastest century in balls by an Australian in England since Victor Trumper in 1906, finishing on 118 of 118 balls, scoring 113 in the middle session alone before he nicked one to the slips before tea, leading to Australia shitting themselves after Tea.

Pretty much saved Australia from being bowled out for 150 thanks to that 155-run partnership, and Travis Head, one of the fastest-scoring players in Test cricket, contributed a mere 30 runs.

So yeah, go BISON.
