Based on a series of plausbile events in a regional Victorian town

Bloody sad to read about Stefano Cherchi’s death on Wednesday due to the injuries from that fall at Canberra a fortnight ago… goes to show the cruel and fickle nature of life itself that 3 jockeys got caught up in that incident (Jeff Penza and Shaun Guymer the others), yet Penza and Guymer avoided injury, while Cherchi landed in an induced coma that he never woke up from.
Moving on from that somber bit of news, it’s time for the first day of the NSW Water Polo Championships on some kind of a Heavy 29 at Randwick, with the highlights being the popular Country Championships Final, plus the four Group 1s of the Inglis Sires for the juveniles, the ATC Australian Derby, formerly the AJC Derby, the TJ Smith Stakes, and the Doncaster Mile, the second most-famous mile in the world…
Behind Eminem’s 8 Mile.
Still, who knows if we’ll actually get a Randwick meeting on Saturday, because based on the BOM forecast, God wants vengeance for the Mardi Gras.

So if Randwick gets knocked back a week, other races of note include the Caulfield Easter Cup meeting, which couldn’t be held last weekend due to the revamped Australian Cup meeting at Flemington, some dodgy races at Morphetville, and another race is the Group 3 Roma Cup at Ascot, and this year it’s a special edition of the Cup, because back in 1966 it was originally created to mark AS Roma’s visit to WA as part of their Australian tour of 1966 (Roma won the match 4-2 at Perry Lakes)..
And next month AS Roma will be back in Perth for the first time since the ’66 visit to play against AC Milan at Optus Stadium, so it’ll be the AS Roma-AC Milan Cup.
So it’s on to Crazy Craig, and his performance was very limited last week as he had to go to Stawell just to get away from Crazy Colin for a long weekend, and look what happened – The Stawell Gift was nearly run underwater on Monday…
I can only come to one conclusion – Craig left his GOOD LUCK CHARM back in Bairnsdale!

Hello Hello everybody it’s Craaaazy Craig, TBFB, Scratchie King of Bairnsdale, and let’s call a spade a shovel, last week was affected by me having to go to Stawell for the Easter weekend, and to be honest I may as well have gone to bloody Atlantis if I’d known it was going to get that bloody wet!
Although, looking at the weather this weekend, it would seem Poseidon is planning on moving to Sydney….
But I don’t know if even a Greek God could afford to get into that market!
Anyway, we’ll see how the first day of the Sydney Equine Aquatic Championships at Randwick end up, because I don’t even know if we’ll get any racing or not, nor does anybody at the ATC, but in the meantime I’ll stick my neck out for something with next to no wet track form in the early part of the card as my Value P(r)ick for the day….
All the way from Paul McCartney’s farm in Scotland, KINTYRE, oh mist rolling in from the sea, my desire, is always to be here, OH MULLLLL OF KINTYRE!
Purely based on the bloodlines (Hallowed Crown x Mull Over), he should be born with a pair of flippers where his hooves should be!

I dunno what a Halatorion is, but apparently it used to be good, so I’m picking it….
Actually, I may know what it is….
Is it somebody who listens to Halo by Beyonce too much?
If so, I’m a Halatorion!
Everywhere I’m lookin’ now
I’m surrounded by your embrace
Baby, I can see your Halatorion,
You know you’re my saving grace
