What in crap’s name happened.
We had a leaders heaven at Randwick, and horses being able to make up ground and win at Moonee Valley.
Shop Til I Drop in Race 5 at Morphetville- WON
Good lordy that was some effort.
The Red Barend pulled the finger out his arse to such a degree that I wouldn’t be surprised if he gave himself hemorrhoids.
That was downright outstanding- She was dropped back to dead last on the rail, looked shot to bits on the turn…. and then she just gave the finger to Akamon and Dr Dependable like they were standing still.
The dynamic trio of McEvoy-McEvoy-Vorster do it again.
Avilius in Race 7 at Randwick (The Chelmsford Stakes)- 2nd
I said that Samadoubt should start rubbing his rosary beads, considering Avilius was back at the mile.
Turns out the Randwick track did it for him, although by the end of the race, Samadoubt wasn’t losing ground like he was in the Winx Stakes- He had maintained 5 lengths on them.
Did a single horse win from off the speed all day?
Te Akau Shark in Race 8 at Randwick (The Tramway Stakes)- 2nd
Control + C the above report about Avilius, and then Control + V into here.
Still, he wasn’t great, but it wasn’t a complete failure of an Australian debut, being the best of a thoroughly beaten lot at the hands/hoofs of Nash Rawiller and Dreamforce.
He might do something in the future, but I’m left thinking that unless Jamie Richards manages to find a fair track (About 10,000-1 at this time of year), then The Shark is just going to be another Kiwi raider dusted off into the forgotten book of history.
Cup Night in Race 8 at Belmont- 3rd
Hang up the saddle.
Far out, what an absolutely flat crap effort- Can’t see Cup Night doing anything when he’s getting beaten like that.
Crazy Craig’s Tip Of The Day
LAYING Reckless Choice in Race 2 at Eagle Farm- FAILED
I didn’t see the race, but I’m assuming Crazy Craig lost.
Oh, what’s that? He did?
Hahahaha, well, what’s new.
