Rehashing from Sunday, I’m off to the wacky tobacky world of the AFLW.
Carlton’s Brooke Walker looks set to finish off a very nice one percenter from Tayla Harris (Technically it wasn’t at ground level) with the Blues’ long-awaited second goal of the game….
Only for the ball to roll along the goal line without completely crossing (According to the goal umpire), and thump into the post.

As you can clearly see, this is a very rare event.
A lucky bounce went Collingwood’s way against Carlton.
As for a close second, I’ll nominate Corey Ramsey’s match-winning try (Bringing up his hat-trick) in the Nines against Penrith, which was only awarded based on effort.
It had nothing to do with the fact that the ball wasn’t even close to in-bounds.

It happens.
Sometimes.
