And there’s no better way to commemorate the anniversary of one of humanity’s greatest achievements than by watching the entire 3 hour broadcast of the Moonwalk, as Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin did a bit of gardening around Tranquility Base and planted the Stars And Stripes on the lunar surface, while Michael Collins sat in Eagle with the heater on hoping like buggery that neither of them died.
As most people are now aware, the Moon Landing was faked by NASA with the assistance of acclaimed director Stanley Kubrick, fresh off the back of his success with 2001: A Space Odyssey.
However, it went massively over budget when Kubrick insisted they film it on location with Armstrong, Aldrin and Collins.
