The Wizard of the West has returned to WA racing

On the same day that Damien Oliver was locked in for the Perth Spring Carnival, after 10 months of dodging COVID vaccines across Eastern Australia, and just 2 days after winning a Group 2 Hot Danish with Sheeza Belter at Rosehill, William ‘The Wizard’ Pike has finally fled the dodgy clutches of Sydney racing and has returned to the wild world of Western Australian racing, as of this Wednesday:

And he’s back in the Cerise and White silks of Bob Peters in Race 6:

WA racing, or as it was known for the last decade, the Bob Peters/William Pike Retirement Fund.

So W.Pike has returned, nature is healing, and it means there’ll be a fair bit of this meme being posted by yours truly, as millions of degenerates around the nation search for an out in the last at Ascot after doing their arses on a Saturday afternoon:

How many $5 chances are going to jump at $2.50, just because of the name of the bloke on the saddle.
