On this day 10 years ago, Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored a 35-yard bicycle kick against England

The winner of FIFA’s Puskas Award in 2013 for the “Most Beautiful” goal of the year, and rightfully so considering it’s one of the most beautiful goals in the history of the beautiful game, as Ibra scored all 4 goals in Sweden’s 4-2 victory against the Three Lions in Stockholm.

We all know the story – 91st minute, Joe Hart came off his line and didn’t clear the ball, and Zlatan, at his physical peak, produced the Zlatan moment to end all Zlatan moments.

And now here it is with Stan Collymore’s famous commentary, as he goes absolutely bananas in amazement at Zlatan:

They could claim that goal is something out of FIFA, but you can’t even pull that off in FIFA.

Fun fact: Out of a pool of 1,036 matches since 1872, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is the only player in the history of international football to score 4 goals in a match against England.

In fact, exactly 10 years on, Zlatan is the most recent player to even score a hat-trick against England.
