Proof that Broc Feeney is the second coming of Jamie Whincup

At the start of the 2022 Supercars season, Broc Feeney replaced the all-time great Jamie Whincup, who retired at the end of 2021 after 124 wins and 7 championships.

Here’s a coincidence that popped up today, as Feeney won the last race of the year around the streets of Adelaide.

Jamie Whincup’s maiden ATCC win: 2006 Adelaide 500, Race 2, driving Car #88 for Triple Eight, with 2nd going to an HRT/Walkinshaw driver

Broc Feeney’s maiden ATCC win: 2022 Adelaide 500, Race 2, driving Car #88 for Triple Eight, with 2nd going to an HRT/Walkinshaw driver

And more historically, Broc Feeney is the last driver in human history to win a touring car race for Holden.

So long, partner.
