It’s the 21st of December and it’s time for Paul Kelly’s yearly reminder of How To Make Gravy

It may not taste the same if it’s 100 degrees, but just add flour, salt, a little red wine, and don’t forget a dollop of tomato sauce for sweetness and that extra tang.

Other than that, I feel like the song starts to drift sideways and focuses on too many non-gravy related events, and I’m still trying to figure out the answer to Joe’s question regarding who will be making the gravy at the family luncheon on Christmas Day, given Joe is making his own gravy from his prison cell.
