Hold the phone, Tim Paine has scored another Sheffield Shield century

Another feather in the cap for the year 2020.

For context, our dear Test Captain rather famously scored just one First Class century during the first 13 years of his career, a double century against WA in October 2006…

He’s now scored 2 in the last 12 months + 1 week.

And this is the first of those centuries that wasn’t again Western Australia.

Combine Paine’s ton, which he got just a week after making 4 & 10, with the fact that even Ashton Agar, who hadn’t reached triple figures since he had hair down to the back of his neck, scored a century against South Australia…

And you get a rough idea of how well the Redbacks are going right now.
