This is what WA punters have to deal with on a weekly basis…. Getting split-screened on Sky 2 while some shithouse joint like Darwin mills around behind the barriers

Funnily enough, that Belmont race was my only bet of the day, and for the third in 3 months, I successfully backed Sluice Box to victory.
Anyway, I have a bit of good news, because after 3 weeks as a substitute, Crazy Colin has finally picked his first winner, and just to cap off the moment…
THE SEX PICK SALUTED… SQUID GAME, RACE 6, NUMBER 9 AT FLEMINGTON… 6 & 9, ya geddit?
TIME TO SOUND CRAZY COLIN’S POSSIBLY BEFORE HEARD VICTORY TUNE…. CRAZY BY WILLIE NELSON:
The judge needed a photo to confirm it, but indeed it was Squid Games who won, as Australia saluted it’s first ‘Sex Pick’ in months….
And it’s here that I finally mention that of course, Squid Games was only $1.90 to win, so it wasn’t exactly an earth shattering moment.
Value Pick: Soaring Eagle in Race 3 at Flemington = 8th
Due to a misunderstanding, Soaring Eagle was picked off by a military drone and fell back to 8th.
Wet Track Pick: Snowzone E/W in Race 10 at Rosehill = 4th
Obviously it wasn’t cold enough for a horse called Snowzone to run to his optimum level….
I think if the weather had been around -10 degrees Celsius and run in at Mount Kosciuszko, he’d have pissed it in.
Other highlight of the day: Zac Purton sealing the Hong Kong Jockey’s Premiership, fittingly mowing down great rival Joao Moreira in Race 7, giving him a 3-win lead with 3 races to go
