The Chalk Eaters Guide Review: 17th August

Me watching Thy Kingdom Come

Very frustrating afternoon for yours truly, after several shorties I overlooked for the guide ended up winning easily… although I acted like a complete grub and backed them anyway.

On the bright side, Crazy Craig got burned.

Age Of Chivalry in Race 4 at Caulfield- WON

Find your swords and shields, gather the fair maidens and saddle the horses, because the age of Chivalry begins again!

No bad luck today- Straight to the front, and it was a walk in the park.

Human Nature in Race 6 at Kembla- 3rd

I do find it somewhat hilarious that a horse named ‘Lass Vegas’ would beat Human Nature, obviously with the band rivaling David Copperfield for the record of performances in the gambling capital of the universe.

What you can’t see is Human Nature getting done for 3rd on the rail

But as it turned out, this would be the first of many times where my selections were beaten by roughies today.

Cryptic Love in Race 4 at Belmont- 6th

You know, I thought to myself yesterday, “Hey, Cryptic Love has the better gate this time, surely Jagsy can use it and sit a bit closer to the speed”…

And then he bombed the start, and did the exact same thing as a fortnight ago.

Surprise surprise, she wasn’t even a factor… again…. although she did beat home Uni Time quite easily.

Thy Kingdom Come in Race 8 at Randwick- 2nd

300 to go, Thy Kingdom Come has taken the lead, he’s got 4 lengths on the pack, and I’m at the Waterford TAB whipping him home harder than JMac on the other side of the continent.

And then the 100 came along, and hang on, who in shit is I Am Vinnie?

Crazy Craig’s Tip Of The Day

LAYING Mystic Journey in the PB Lawrence Stakes- FAILED (Won)

Hahahahahaha, cop that Crazy Craig, you’ve bitten off more than you can chew this time!
